Configuration steps from scratch
This section covers the basic configuration of itmSUITE® from scratch.(when no data is present) This includes:
- Application settings
- Company creation
- License configuration
- Admin user creation
- Cross master data
It is recommended to perform the configuration in the order listed. For more information on how to perform each configuration step refer to the dedicated page.
Application settings
In General/System/Application Settings some key settings shall be defined. To manage them first of all you shall access as a superadmin to the system. See the page Application Settings for more details.
Company creation
Now, the creation of a company is needed. See the page Company creation for more details.
License configuration
At least the license to activate a company shall be configured to be able to complete its configuration and activation.
Admin creation
The next step is to define an admin for the created company. See the page Admin user creation for more details.
Cross master data
Company cross master data may now be prepared. By cross master data, we mean those data used by more than one key modules of itmSUITE®. See the page Cross master data for more details.
