Semaphores
Semaphores are used for projects and services. They are a set of metrics each used to monitor a particular aspect of the status of a project (project semaphore) or service (service semaphore).
Semaphores may be defined at company level (General/Projects/Semaphores) or per project / service class (General/Projects/Project Classes in Sempahores tab). See the project master data page for more information on project classes.).
Threshold values shall be defined for each semaphore and are used in reports and messages. The available semaphores and their thresholds are described in the following table.

Depending on the context or choice, the calculation may be based on the current estimation (the one visibile in project or service Estimationtab) or the estimation related to the last executed project milestone or service review. The monetary value of the risks is calculated as the sum of the Weighed Value (which is the multiplication of Value and Probability) for all the open risks (those with Close Flag set to "False"). |
